Ken, my sincere condolences to you and your family. At these times, one must embrace loved ones and keep strong. May Rose rest in peace. Any time you wanna chat I am here for you pal.

My 56yo sister passed away at 1.25pm today after a short but savage battle with cancer.

Rose suffered many problems and the family truly believes she has gone to a better place.

Therefore please consider this post simply a mark of respect and not an out pouring of grief.

Rest in peace Siss.

Ken

I'm sorry, Ken. I said a little prayer for her, you and your family.

My grandmothers name was Rose. She also passed away from Cancer; may they both rest in peace.

My condolences to you Ken.

"Two thousand years will soon be gone since God looked down in love.

There in the town of Bethlehem a Rose began to bud.

It lived to bloom until one day was crushed with awful frown.

And then in love from God above

Was moved to higher ground.

There had to be a Rose to live and die among the thorns." - Mark Bishop (Centergy Music / BMI)

Sorry to hear that Ken... my condolensces!

I know how you must fell.

Life has its battles - some are to be won, others not.

And this is how life somehow feels "weird" because

nobody can tell exactly "why" things happen.

Justice - Freedom and Love are terms that are to be regarded

not only single sided with the eyes just turned onto

our now visible material world, because they dont make sense then.

At least your sister is free of pain.

Regards

George

We laid Rose to rest at 9.30am this beautiful sunny morning.

You have all been very kind but now I am locking this thread.

As they say "today is the first day of the rest of my life" time to move forward.

Thank you

Ken
