creation88
I have an MBK/MBW Great white Seadweller, which I'm slowly modding piece by piece, and one thing that bothers me is the date window seems small compared to gen. I'm less bothered about the white date wheel as some gens have them as service replacements. My question is, has anyone bought the Yuki 1665 dial for ETA and if so, how much better (if at all) is it than the MBK/MBW?
flex
The stock MBW looks better. I'd send it to one of the modders for reluming. Good luck with your project
coolfire
I'm with Flex too. Yuki's lume look more like blobs...
HauteHippie
The GW MBW dial is/was by far the best MBW vintage dial IMO. It is better than the Yuki , IMO !
creation88
Thanks guys – you just saved me $198. I can put that towards a gen 93150 bracelet.

A gen bracelet would be a definitely better investment. Though, as what the rest have mentioned, you'll need to send the MBW dial for relume. grifter
I opened up a date window on an explorer 2 dial with a file. Nerve racking but it turned out ok!
Dizzy
I dont think the MBW datewindow is smaller than gen is it?
tgchrono2
will i be able to install a vintage 1665 dial on a modern sea dweller rep ? i like the look of new sea dweller (case, bracelet ect) with vintage look of 1665's dial.
creation88
You could get a Yuki 16660 matte dial, cut the feet off (as they only make them for 3035 movements) and install it in the modern case, if it fits. Oh and you'll need to drill the lugs as well, but what a watch you'll end up with!

chiman12
I prefer the InGod GW dial over both Yuki and MBW...
usmctowgnr
I second chiman12 in the ingod rail dial and at only 150 bukcs or so you cannot go wrong. Looks to be same dial that ndt sells for over 400. I cant wait to get my MBW 1665 case to do this build.

creation88
Those InGod Rail Dials look pretty darned good. Good size Date window too. Where do I get on of those and are they built to fit ETA movements?
cib0rgman
I prefer the InGod GW dial over both Yuki and MBW... Who is this Guy InGod? I have a MBW on my 1665 but I just can't justify a Gen dial, even when my 1665 has a 1570 movement inside.
