hiker01
Whew......what a day! Finally dug out, but the road in our cul-de-sac is still buried! Nobody could get in or out! The city doesn't have enough snow plow trucks to clean the whole town in 12 hours! I woke up to this......... Front stoop: Back porch: and then some: and cars thawing out after a freezing nite in the garage: At least the German RWD made it home after going thru this:

When I used to live in Northern Montana close to the Canadian border, this was nothing! For Nanuq, it's just a gust of Snow!

chronos666
Been lucky so far in Maryland this year, last year at this time we were over 100 inches, it's still too friggin cold.
browngo1
Hats off to you guys! In the West coast of Scotland we get maybe 2 or 3 inches of snow overnight and everything grinds to a halt! Buses stop running, trains are cancelled, people stay at home because the conditions are too bad to get to work! It's an absolute joke over here, and every winter it's the same! I've driven 30 miles to work in the "snow" and people who live in the same town that I work in say they can't get to work!! The Scandinavians I work with can't believe it. They look at it and say "This is not SNOW!" Best of all was a few years ago, when we had maybe 6-8 inches, and they couldn't get the snow blower at the airport started because it was too cold! Nanuq
When we get this much overnight... We just say SCREW IT!!! and go for a ride! But we have to be careful not to run into telephone poles
