txcollector Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 If I had to guess the gen would be the second from the right. so Pete, which one is the gen?
StormTooper4 Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 Nice post , but come on you got to show more and tell which is best (apart from the OEM) and where its from
ATEspo Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 One of them is in the pics I posted Which one is it? I just ordered myself one.
pabler Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 The thing is, I had two of them, but they ended up with rust inside the folding parts (pins?) so at the end it was difficult to open/close it. Do the same happens to you???

Do the same happens to you??? Thats why I mentioned before that you really need to strip these down and oil bath them etc, once you do that you will have a serviceable piece of kit I am just getting the last bit of the review together so hope to have it to you soon..sorry for delay ... I am struggling with my IT skills and the marking up the pics

h2000 Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Ditto! Been wanting to purchase the deployment for a little while but if one of the reps is close, I'd go for that instead and pocket the difference! Thanks for your work on this!
ilyailya Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Pete send me one . the one on the 236k is actually pretty good. I will not touch it. The one i had before use to dig into my wrist a bit and leave marks. This one is much better. I guess oil bathing it and brillo works
OiRogers Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 3 is my favorite... 4 looks great closed. 1 does't look shabby either... I really need to get some deployant straps... My clasps are all still on the old rubber diver straps rotting away in the parts bin.

luminor625 Posted April 30, 2011 Report Posted April 30, 2011 I have never seen one of those in my hand myself but I always liked that style but I only thought these were the 40mm (20mm) deployants...? Are they available in 22mm? Of course just using a buckle is one option but I do like deployants as they reduce the wear on the strap and you dont end up with those horrible creases etc plus I find them more comfortable personally I thought the 44mm pams needed a 24mm strap? or is the measurement poster is referring to just at the buckle?? Have a 44mm dsn and trying to figure out a good rubber strap with deployable to purchase but dont want to get the wrong one. Thanks everyone, would prefer a polished one like #3
