I am about to buy a Yuki case but I am concerned about the rehaut on this picture, looks a little thin, what you guys think, I have been noticed from previuos reads that new Yuki's cases are wrong on the rehaut but yuki claim to me to have fixed, what you guys think?

Here is a version 1 aka earlier version of the same Yuki case. That case does look a little thinner, and the crown guards look different. There were some documented issues with the Yuki 1680 recent version, including glued tubes, and not fitting gen movements very well.

Here is mine for comparison.

Ronin - Your crown looks too big (wide). You definitely need a gen for that watch.

josechano - The inner flange looks fine to me. I would do a bit of reshaping of the CGs though (look too new for a vintage Sub).

It is Gen, Monobloc 703/704. I have a non-Monoblock here that I will most likely swap out.

@ Freddy333, Monoblock, No? (I have/had 3 of these from a reliable source).

I am only seeing 1 pic (from the side). Post a macro pic of the crown from the front/dial side, so I can see its width. That is where I think there may be a problem - in your other pics, it looks too wide.

ALL THREE of these have supposedly GEN "Monoblock" crowns. The 5513 however looks to be smaller (703 mono?, and the 1665/1680 704's ???)

If I were a betting a man, I would like to think the 5513 has a 24-703-monoblock, and the 1665/1680 have 24-704's. The only aftermarket crown that comes close to these are BK's, and something that came accross Justasgood's desk. :g:

"Your crown looks too big (wide). You definitely need a gen for that watch."

"It is Gen, Monobloc 703/704. I have a non-Monoblock here that I will most likely swap out."

I measuerd seven slightly used (very little apparent wear) 24-703-0 monos and they all measure between 3.75mm and 3.85mm high across the cap skirt to the top of the cap right up against the crown tube. None are damaged and none appear to have been polished.

A new mono 24-703-0 right out of the pack measured 3.85mm.

Also measured a few 3 dot 'crimped' styles and they measured 3.7mm to 3.75mm.

Earlier 'no dot' crowns measured 3.6mm.

Someone else could measure a 704 crown and see what they get.

I have a few replica crowns and some look a bit tall so I measured a couple and they are 4.15mm high and will not screw down on a genuine case tube because the crown threads are too small.

Next, I looked on bernardwatch.com at submariner 16610 made ca 2005 (bernard number RLX4961) and the crown, probably a 24-703-0, looks a bit tall. Maybe it's the angle.

Also, just measured a GEN 702 that has been polished. 2.95 mm visible notches, and a total width of 3.65.

Just measured a GEN 703 NON-Mono, that has 3.14mm visible notches, and total width of 3.68.

So, I think what we may also have here is-- we are used to seeing the slimmer profile and less "grooved/notched" area on the 700/702 and 703 NON-Mono's. When we see the increased area of the Monoblocks we think it is too wide.

Popped into an AD while running some errands today.

They had a most current Submariner 14060M. Guess what? It has a 704 that looks IDENTICAL to the crown on my 1680. Once again, just when you think you have it all figured out, Rolex changes it up. I will still put my 703 on it someday, just to be more period. Only a matter of time before RSC starts using 24-704's on everything.
