sempire Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 I like this watch. I think i'm going to need a watch for when I am out doing outdoor stuff in the winter..
dbutlerman Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 I really like My Little Pony Who doesn't?
Jkay Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Who doesn't? Some people like Hello Kitty. At the OP (BM) ... I wore my ultimate non-chrono today, and yes these are great watches. Just don't ever use the dive bezel

sempire Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Nice GShock, sempire, which model.is it? Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk I think it's the GA-101 or GA-100 or something.. You hear a lot of people say that the movements in these reps aren't good for a lot of high impact activities so I figure I will pick one up for all my hardcore type of activities...
prdubis Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Thanks for your answer! It's pretty cool for outdoor activities you're right! --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=43.382122,-1.654849
Baryonic Matter Posted August 25, 2011 Author Report Posted August 25, 2011 At the OP (BM) ... I wore my ultimate non-chrono today, and yes these are great watches. Just don't ever use the dive bezel Too late, already played with it. It functions but is fairly loose and the slightest touch on the winder moves it around. I may see if I can find some way of tightening it up one day, perhaps after my new one arrives.
Jkay Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Too late, already played with it. The plastic gear which drives the bezel to turn is fragile and snaps in half. It rolls around inside the watch and jams it up.

Not to worry, maybe I can get in there and superglue it back together or something or, at the very least, get the broken bits out so the rest works. Amazingly it keeps almost perfect time.
Jkay Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Thats what the watch repair guys do. They try and epoxy it together when it breaks.
TeeJay Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 I like my daily beater.. As used by all good suicide bombers

Great, I've got my brand new, super fancy watch repair tool set here, this might be my chance to use some of the fancy looking gadgets in it.
