dbutlerman
Well I just blew my budget on my 1680 build by adding a Gen. 93150 bracelet. I don't have time for pics at the moment, but if anybody is on the fence about getting one...do it! What a difference in feel. Silky smooth comfort all the way! I really can't describe what a difference it makes!

alligoat
Z9- can't remember but maybe late 99 or 2000. Looks nice and tight.
dbutlerman
I think 97-98 is Z and 9 is toward the end of the production run, so I'd say late 97 to mid 98 as they switched to W sometime during 98 I believe, but this thing has like 0 stretch! I was a little nervous picking it up as he said it has some stretch, but it is really minimal!
ilyailya
best way to make a rep bracelet feel betteR? some one suggested baby oil for24 hrs? or low grade sand paper?
dbutlerman
Both work well and make a rep bracelet feel better. But still not like a gen
dbutlerman
What I do is sand the edges with a nail file to take the edge off and then coat in oil, and then wash off any excess oil.
highoeyazmuhudee
i too am contemplating a gen bracelet, any rep 93150 just isnt doing it. but it will add significant $$ to any project. question, how thick are the links? height wise... dbutlerman
They taper width and thicknesses as they approach the bracelet...which links do you want measurements on?
yoji112
Sorry to divert from the OP but who/where can I buy a rep 93150 bracelet?
tabularasa415
Well, I have both a gen and rep 93150, and I hate to be the one to disagree, BUT... I will. I sent my old school MBW 93150 off with my build to PBdad and asked him to "do whatever you can to make this thing feel more gen-like" and he did precisely that. I don't know what, precisely, he did, but it feels GREAT. So a heavily modded 93150 bracelet combined with a gen clasp can be 90-95% on gen all the way (not to mention $500-700 cheaper). I'll leave the gen 93150 on my gen sub. Hehe.
Ephry73
Love the bracelet. Completely unassuming, but functional. eBay sourced? Only thing is, arm hairs getting caught in these bracelets. Does anyone have a cure for this(other than shaving your arms) E

Not sure why. Maybe it has something to do with stretch. This one doesn't have much at all...
