watcher Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I looked at the new coaxial SMP's at my dealer at the weekend and I think the upgraded standard model looks good. THe red text is nice and the rings around the markers gives it a more classy look. The price has jumped 400 pounds which pushes it into a different price sector where more competitiion exsists. They also had the upgraded dial chrono with similar features but I think it still has the 7750 movement inside at the moment.

Jetsons Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Not too taken by the new Bond Seamaster specially in light their rather sizeable price increase. Too bad they replaced the proven caliber 1120 with the co-ax. Looks like they needed to justify the new bloated pricing. When it comes to the LE 007, Omega may have a tough time surpassing the original. They hit the nail on the head on this one.
