Part Number Request 1675

Anyone know off the top of their heads the correct part number for:

SS Tube for 1675 (GMT)

SS Crown for 1675 (GMT)

1970's era, but curious as to the "current" service replacement part numbers.

Are you sure it's not the 5.3mm? Mine is visibly smaller than the one on my 6536.

Depending on which case you use.

Gen case :

tube #24-5320 crown #24-530-0

However:

Cartel 1:1 1655 case

I used a gen tube #24-5320 and a #24-600-0 crown, because of the 1655 having space for a 6mm crown between the guards.

I also tried a gen 530, but it looks way too small.

This is 1655 case with gen 600 crown

Frank, I can't tell you if any modding was necessary....Rolexaddict assembled the watch and installed the tube.

Worth sending a PM his way.

My crown screws in perfectly.

Huge difference to the rep crown/tube. But also a lot smaller in appearance to the rep tube with gen crown.

I was told by the Rolex parts seller people often use a #24-533-0 tube which appears to be incorrect for a 1675.

Whether these will fit a particular rep case, I cannot answer.

Could it be there are two 24-5330 tubes then?

One for the GMT and one that isn't?

I thought my dealer said 24-5320 but I'm not sure anymore....he definitely said about one of the 24-5330 tubes that it isn't fitting a 1675 case

From some more surfing, the 24-5330 that F33 mentioned appears correct.

24-5320 seems to keep coming up for "ladies" DJ's, or possibly pre-70's models that may need broached inside to accept the crown.

I'm not sure about the 5.3 tube but there are 2 6mm tubes. The "new" style tube screws into the same hole as the 7mm tube while the "old" style goes into a smaller hole.

All 1675 came with 5.3mm tubes and crowns.

All 1655 came with 6.0mm tubes and crowns.

Modern (sapphire DJ etc) with 6.0mm crowns use a 5.3mm case tube so you can put a modern 6.0mm crown on a 5.3mm case tube.

Submariner 7.0mm case tubes have the same threads (where they screw into the case) as standard 6.0mm case tubes.

5.3mm case tube threads are 2.5mm x .25mm where they screw into the case

6.0mm/7.0mm case tube threads are 3.0mm x .35mm where they screw into the case

yes - Cousins UK shows these different case tubes for 1675 and 1655 - the 1675 tube doesn't fit Joshs 1655 which is actually correct - so i guess we are forced to use the 6mm crowns on Joshs case ...

i doubt there is a tube for 5.3mm crowns with a larger diameter.

I have a tube that is supposed to be for the older style. It measures 2.9mm on the case end (it fits the cartel 16710 case) with an external gasket, and 3.9 on the crown end, which fits the 5.3mm crown I have. I don't know what Rolex part number is, but I'd sure like to.
