maxman Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 http://gizmodo.com/5...it-won-an-award If thats the case...some of the frankens around here should be up for such an award. Mike
lhooq Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 "Amazing! I can't tell which one is real, and which one is the fake!" "But you don't even know what the genuine watch looks like." "EXACTLY!"
praetor Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 bwahahahah it won an award? there's at least 3 glaring differences, the crown size, pearl and hands size 1
mikellem Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 The funny thing is... Our really good Out Of The Box Reps are light years better than this one IMO. MM
subbiesrock Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 The funny thing is... Our really good Out Of The Box Reps are light years better than this one IMO. MM You piped in before I had the chance... So true
maxman Posted December 15, 2011 Author Report Posted December 15, 2011 I guess the thing is the overall quailty...nothing gives away a rep more than poor f&f. It's true..the reps we buy are not only well made for the most part..but like the resent Pams for example...the accuracy Is spot on also. Mike
penaduny Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 bwahahahah it won an award? there's at least 3 glaring differences, the crown size, pearl and hands size i was going to say that! people on this forum have watches that are so much closer to the gen? why was that watch picked?
Ronin Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I find it funny that the watch chosen to show off is a Fortis. Not a brand that jumps to mind of wanting so bad, and not being able to afford that a replica is a "hot" item. Me thinks this is actually clever marketing (for Fortis). No such thing as bad publicity?
browngo1 Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Obviously the people who decided this rep merited an award know sod all about replica watches! The factories producing our latest reps could wipe the floor with this Digital Time outfit.

I mean they cant even get something as simple as the proper color rehaut right.
frankt Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 As I stated elsewhere......This is just a vivid illustration as to how "rep ignorant" the other 99.99% of the population is!!.....The vast majority of them are absolutely certain that if a Rolex doesn't tick once per second, it's real..!! And yet we get all "jiggy" about silly stuff like rehaut,(WTF is THAT...???), and the number of flutes on a watch crown, or the letter A with a cross bar too low.......Ain't WE "quaint".....

fischyyy Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 LOL what a bad rep to give an award to. Anyone with a UPO or WM9 Sub is way better off
lhooq Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 The award should be called the "Statue of Imitations"! Took me five days to think of that one...
