Nothing else to say. 3035 will not fit in a 3135 case. stem position on the 3035 is similar to an ETA 2836-2. stem position on the 3135 is similar to the ETA 2824-2. The difference between the 3035 and 3135 is 0.45mm, measured from back of dial to center of stem. That case is fake. The only thing they could do to fit the 3035, is mill out the case so the 3035 sits in deeper in order to align the stem. But looking at the pictures of the rehaut, it is still deep and not shallow. The only other way to fit, is to enlarge the rehaut diameter, or reduce the dial diameter so the dial actually sits inside the rehaut, and not behind it. anyone else notice that wonky looking hour hand? the mercedes logo gives the illusion it is turning counter clockwise when you look at it. Look at the center of the Y. Where the to lines meet, is not center with the third line. Also, is it just my tired eyes, or is that a Flat S dial? Can I ask where these silver open font dw's (and centered) are comming from. I'm in the process of gathering parts for a 16800 build and will be using a gen dial. Help please..........? I have to pick up my 16800 gen dial and 16800 gen "abused" insert later today, but after re-reading this, I may save it for the ST case to build a proper 16800, and use the BK case with TC dial combo and TC bracelet for a 16610 with lugholes, etc.. I have a v3 bracelet on the way and also have a pretty decent Asian 93150 with aftermarket 501b end links. This will be a daily wearer, mostly work, but I want it to look decent and of course behave well. So, to recap previous possiblities offered for a decent 16610: I would go for a 16610 with lugholes. This case is copmpletely off for a 16800 and the DW with open 6 and 9 could be hard to find. 3035 case from startime looks good instead, if you want a 16800. With a 16610 with lugholes you have these options: t<25 tritium dial, hands and insert, 93150 bracelet, open or closed dw SWISS dial, luminova hands and insert, 93150 bracelet, closed dw SWISS MADE dial, luminova hands and insert, 93250 bracelet, closed dw The third one is the easilest, just put a modern dial and insert, TC bracelet and TC dwo, and you'll have mine: edited: sorry alligoat you replied while I was writing.. Crystal with or without LEC would be acceptable. Same combination with the 93150 and 501b end links would look like a pre-1999 build with service dial and hands (and crystal if w/LEC). Original configuration had T<25 dial and no LEC crystal. Basically T<25 is always non SEL, SWISS is non SEL, SWISS MADE always SEL. Choose the insert accordingly. Could be luminova, my P serial (2000) is a luminova dial. Not sure abpout the rest.
