Adeodatus Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 Ingy, without a doubt. I have the Mark XVI as a daily beater and I love as well.
modelizer Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Another vote for the 3717 - because it's just a classy (but yet sporty) classic fliegeruhr
chiman12 Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 I like the classics and vote for the SS GST
maxman Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 The rep would be the COUSTEAU Diver The gen would be the Aquatimer Deep two. The reason...I dive at five....no muff to tough. Mike
Adeodatus Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Portuguese is by far the best gen IWC, but its rep is pretty poor: not accurate and the movement is problematic
dmacnz Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Portuguese is by far the best gen IWC, but its rep is pretty poor: not accurate and the movement is problematic Great point....My fav rep of the IWC's is the 3717 ST Exupery, Great looking watch, great AR as stock....A real stunner
Craig88 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Big pilot. I either don't like the look of the other iwc's or the ones I do like have risky movements.
Logan Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 I'd have to say Ingy non chrono.. awesomely made rep, best finished case and bracelet in my option. Super reliable with just a regular Eta 2824 inside. An AR coated crystal is the only mod they really needed, although the macro lens crowd sometimes do date wheels too.
permabull Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Flieger Chrono 3717 classic for all occasions
SimonLee Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Absolutely the Aquatimer Deep Two. Beautiful piece of art.
ryaku Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 3719 or 3707 (GST Ti) or 3717 Spitfire or Mark XVI Spitfire ...uh, well, ok I'm confused if only one, let's say 3719 with SS strap
