gran Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 I just cant imagine a Liverpool fan wearing this watch it is a marvelous piece of design but would you really take them to a match or even swimming?
swdivad Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Actually, it is a very nice looking watch, A tad thick for my taste and too fashiony for me for sure! Tried the gen on a few weeks back. I just couldn'tbring myself to buy a LV watch... I'll stick to the wallets
tonton2000 Posted November 2, 2006 Author Report Posted November 2, 2006 I just cant imagine a Liverpool fan wearing this watch it is a marvelous piece of design but would you really take them to a match or even swimming? LOL No never to a match.....or even swimming...or maybe anywhere outside the house.......
Chronus Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Interesting watch... Tonton does it again, finds another watch I shouldn't even be looking at... leave me alone to my PAMs, Breitlings and Omegas!!!
tonton2000 Posted November 2, 2006 Author Report Posted November 2, 2006 ...or maybe anywhere outside the house....... ...listen carefully to the sounds of words being eaten.... Very nice in the flesh, and alot bigger than i thought!
Devedander Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Somehow when I think diver I don't think LV...
KB Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Of course anyone who buy's this watch know where to get matching accessories.....................right Ken
tonton2000 Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 Well my rep arrived today........... Here are the pics. PROS: Super Lume on the hands! (but not on the hour markers ) The crown at 2 o'clock actually rotates the inner ring like the genuine! (i know its nothing new, but still) Accurate rubber strap with the Damier print. I have numer 000/227!!!!!! Collectors item or what! Flaws: The crown sticks out a bit more compared to the ones in Quarks (beautiful) pictures No square cyclops on the crystal over the date "LOUIS VUITTON" text around the case not as deeply engraved as the genuine. No engraved "LV" or diver logo on either crown Overall though, very nice, and for a cheap price. Im pretty sure only 0.000001% of the worlds population are LV watch WIS's, so the only logical thing to do is buy a nice wallet and bag/breifcase/wallet to go with it!
tonton2000 Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 It might be better to move this thread to the Photogallery or Rep vs Gen section.......
Chronus Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 A couple of questions:- 1- Who did you get this from? 2- How much?
tonton2000 Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 A couple of questions:- 1- Who did you get this from? 2- How much? Hi mate 1. I got it from cqout.com, from a seller called maximwatch. it was the first time i had used the site, but it was actually quite good. 2. It cost £59 plus shipping, so around £65 altogether, which is not bad!
gioarmani Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 That's pretty smooth--nice price too. I wonder how it scores on waterproofness.
Chronus Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 At that price, I'd expect it's only Asian movement ? I see Joshua has a "ladies" version with ETA movement that looks like this: http://perfect-clones.com/lv10003-trambour...6712-p-669.html Is this the same thing ?
TwoTone Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 I wonder how it scores on waterproofness. Probably the same as your girl's panties... TT

Joshuas version is the smaller size (29mm vs 40mm) and doesn't have a subdial @ 6 o'clock
