dbutlerman
Well after have 2 Frankens over the last couple years and immediately missing them as soon as I sold them - I decided to bite the bullet and go for the real deal. This is the first New Gen that I have ever purchased and had an excellent transaction and a great price. Here are my first few pics - I need to bust out the DSLR - but for now the iPhone will do:

scotty
not crapping.....but the font on the datewheel looks different to other omegas, including my (4 year old) gen 45.5mm PO. Has Omega changed the date font?

dbutlerman
not crapping.....but the font on the datewheel looks different to other omegas, including my (4 year old) gen 45.5mm PO. Has Omega changed the date font? Good catch. It is different. Your movement is a 2500C. Omega switched to a newer coaxial recently (2500D) and when they did, they changed the font on the datewheel. The main change they made is in the coaxial wheel. It's now more similar to their in-house 8500 movement. To everybody else....THANKS!
