frankt
Nice looking watch, skillfully executed, but, the whole "bronze" thing still just looks like an old dirty gold watch to me...And I've seen more than enough of THOSE over the years...! slask111
Looks great, im impressed. Sorry im a n00b, but the dial print has a "rolex" logo? Can somone teach me why that is the case
asciwhite
Very early Panerai had Rolex pocket watch movements. Cal 540 if I am not mistaken. This "rep" has a Cortebert 616 wich is as close as you can come in a very good homage (If you do not have a Rolex movement) this is just a very very short summary. The history is much longer... So this Bronzo vintage watch has all the bells and wistles
Jkay
Yes, just engrave "Rolex" into the thin central bridge and you are complete It's so beautiful ....

Pre V
Amazing bronze project you have completed Eric. One thing about bronze cases, the patina accelerates much faster than any other metal materials. In time, you will have a vintagized look faster than you can imagine. Especially with the sun exposures you have at your location, can't wait to see the development in a couple of months, even weeks.
