vlydog Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 Are the hands for Rolex models 1665, 5512, 5513, and 1680 all the same? Thank you
highoeyazmuhudee Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 i think the 1680 has a longer (taller) pinion
cib0rgman Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 1665 and 1680 Should match as they use the same movement
polexpete Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 Movements are all 1570 so yes all the same ... date or no date makes no difference, cost effectiveness was present even in the 70"s would you believe ... Cheers P.

Cheers P. Not true, date/no-date does make a difference with the seconds hand. As mentioned above the pinion length is different. To summarize. Hour and Minute hands are the same. Seconds hand from a no-date (5512/5513) will NOT work on a 1680/1655/1665/1675...

vlydog Posted April 12, 2012 Author Report Posted April 12, 2012 Can anyone help me with the Rolex part number for the 5513 handset?
lhooq Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Seconds hand from a no-date (5512/5513) will NOT work on a 1680/1655/1665/1675... But vice-versa is OK, with a little bending to avoid contact with the crystal.
vlydog Posted April 13, 2012 Author Report Posted April 13, 2012 I'm thinking hour and minute hands are 14-481 Second hand anyone?
vlydog Posted April 18, 2012 Author Report Posted April 18, 2012 Anyone know the part number for the 5513 second hand? Thank you.
vlydog Posted May 11, 2012 Author Report Posted May 11, 2012 well, that's handy.... Hey K Keep an eye open for the mailman
Justasgood Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 Hey K Keep an eye open for the mailman How did you know he lost my brother's watch? Pisses me off. His wife gave it to him in lieu of a wedding ring(he has lost 2 of those) and he sent it too me for a quick fix. I took care of it and had it engraved as a surprise. Sent it form Nashville to New Orleans on Friday USPS Priority and it is nowhere to be found. Did you find it?
