Good catch! Not a 1680 case, and that looks like a cyclope 116 crystal from a Tudor 9411.

I am not an expert on 1680s, but that crystal looks a bit like the cyclops version of the (non-cyclops) Tropic 19 (which has beveled sides) that I originally installed on my 5514

(later replaced with a NOS T19 dome when I converted it to a pre-Comex 5513)

The engravings caught my eye and the flat area under the crown between the crown guards. But the cgs have the 1680 droop to them.

Certainly it's been re-engraved

585 end pieces are strange and non-spec springbars.

A put together watch- wonder if the seller got hosed on this one?

oh...this is a franken of sorts a mismas of en and rep parts carefully crafted by someone that thinks they know what they are doing......what goes around will certainly come back around to haunt them......

That is definitely not a 1680 crystal. The cyclops is too far in like a Tudor cyystal . Maybe a 128? End links are wrong , I would bet this is not a Rolex case. The engraving doesn't look like Rolex fonts. Like someone said this is a made from parts watch. He should have put this one on Ebay, rather than the Vintage Rolex Market. There may be some over there who are blowhards, but there are a few that make a living buying/selling and trading vintage Rolex watches. you may fool one of them with some obscure subtle variation, but not a mish mash like this one!!
