Omega Seamaster 300 Vintage NOS Full Gen

Hi Guys!

I want to show you my last purchase. This project started up a few months ago after a conversation with my friend Darío (Reziarius). We talked about we would like to get a Seamaster 300 vintage NOS (he already had one, so this one would be his second ).

After an unexpected delay because of a missing piece that refused to appear, I can finally enjoy of this full GEN timepiece.

If i'm not wrong have 41mm without crown, little bigger than my frankens 16610 and 5512. It have perfect size IMO

Wear it in good health. I went the same route and have both a NOS date and no date version. I love them.

So you guys grabbed the parts from ebay and put them together....If so was the movement hard to find ( guessing you used the original Omega movement)?

Yeah. Original movement is an Omega 565. Luckily omega built millions of them...literally. You can get them out of a mid to late 60's Omega pretty cheap. Mine ended up almost free after selling the left over parts from the donor.

Movement's cheap. Obtainable at less than USD 300.00. The most expensive item would be the case set. This is essentially a USD2k project.

Movements are even cheaper than that, I paid 170$ for my donor watch. OP, beautiful Seamaster!
