dieselpower
You'd have thought it would be quite simple wouldn't you. All I want is a good rivetted 20mm (non-expanding) 7206 with 80 endlinks, that accepts 2mm springbars. It would appear from my research that this is impossible. Unless of course you know different....
Guest al12
Yuki 7206 can take 2mm springbars with some mods.
dieselpower
Freddy333 has tried to make 2mm bars fit. No joy. Anyway Yuki is out of stock.
Guest al12
Pbdad was able to fit 2mm springbars.
dieselpower
OK. That's great to hear and thanks. Trouble is.... out of stock.
Akira
There is none except a gen or yuki. I was able to get one from the last batch and Rolexaddicct says fitting gen springbars is no problem. I'd email yuki and ask - maybe they just haven't updated yet. panerai153
I can appreciate your problem. When I built my 6542, I searched high and low for a rivet bracelet just like what you are looking for. 7206/80. I finally ended up buying a expansion from Phong, but it didn't have 80 end links. I can't understand why something like making endlinks that fit a 2mm spring bar would be so darn difficult. dieselpower
Cheers for the empathy panerai153. I know it's rediculous when you think the lengths these people go to on some things. What did you think of Phongs bracelet? Emailed Yuki, got a quick reply - no idea when they will have new stock of bracelets
ww12345
Somewhere on this board I posted a tutorial for how to fix that 2mm springbar problem - it is really pretty easy. That doesn't solve the fact that Yuki is out at the moment...
Ronin
I might be parting with a GEN C&I from 1972 with minimal stretch for its 40yr old life.
dieselpower
@ Ronin. PM sent.
woof*
Btw, there are rep versions with genuine construction of the C&I bracelet out there too. I have no idea where to get one, or where I got mine....but they exist I know I got mine from a rep dealer on a watch I ordered. I thought I was ordering from Josh..but it was a clone site of Perfect Clones...lol Notice the dimple rivets
Akira
Woof is right. There is a rep C&I stretch rivet. Angus has it on his 6542. http://www.puretime.co/product/vintage-gmt-master-6542-black-dial-bluered-eta2846/
woof*
Awesome Akira, one piece endlinks like the gen and mine.
dieselpower
Thanks for info. Didn't want a stretch though. Anybody know of a rep non-stretch?
panerai153
I'm pretty happy with the phong 7206. I have the 7206 that came on my puretime 6542,frankly it's pretty crappy. I tried to use it on my 6542 build with the MingQuy case, the end link fit was terrible! Probably a 4-5mm gap between the case and the endlink, enough that you could read the writing between the lugs! Don't waste your money on that one.
dieselpower
@ panerai153 thanks for the tip off. Trouble is the phong non-stretch 7206 does not have 80 end links
Nanuq
You want this one then. Early Yuki.
dieselpower
Yup. That's the one, although I assume it doesn't fit 2mm bars? Care to part with it for ready money?
Guest zeleni kukuruz
And this one? Not the endlinks you want but... http://ndtradingcorp.com/zen/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=

I'd like to know how those endlinks look on an MBW 5513 though, anyone any experiences?
Nanuq
Yep, got 2mm bars in it. Nope, don't need the money. Sorry, but that's the one you need.
freddy333
Once Yuki restocks, ask him to install 2mm springbars for you. They are mediocre quality, but at least you will not have to risk mangling the bracelet by fitting them yourself. And, by the way, Yuki originally told me that the factory will correct the end links (to fit the correct springbars) for the next shipment. This was a couple of years ago, so you might want to check with him to see if this is still the plan.
