dluddy
Very nice. What was the base Silix case you used?
stevedrk
The case is marked 6541, which I think is actually a Milgauss reference. But I see a lot of the silix cases marked as such. Daz on RWI can probably tell you more specifics. It's his build.

ThinkBachs
For some reason the crown doesn't look right to me, maybe there were a couple different versions for this watch. Did find this: 135 $ One Set Crown & Tube Rolex BREVET 8mm For Rolex SUBMARINER Ref 5510,6538,6200 & Tudor Submariner 7924. The Crown has Pipe Coupling available fit with stem of Rolex movement 1520,1530,1560,1030,A260,A296.. This Crown Rolex Replacement Special Quality. http://vintagewatchesmq.com/minhquy/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=603&category_id=88&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 This is the type of crown I've seen more of: After all these years, I still can't understand why people feel that bleaching the heck out of their bezels is a good idea. alligoat
The dial textureis amazing, congrats! +1 Look forward to seeing that insert with a pearl. You also might think about trying to recess the insert in the bezel if it's possible. Great job so far!

aeromatic
Super build ! the dial looks great raffles time right? i have done a similar texture on my 6538 my dial was too glossy !
freddy333
Way too many (similar) pics, but, nice work on the watch. I do think the lume is too yellow & the 'age/wear' of the insert (which appears to be popping out around 30) does not match the relatively new-looking bezel/case &, as someone else suggested, the crown does look a bit odd.
