tomhorn
I was prepared to hate Daniel Craig as Bond, but was pleasantly surprised in Casino Royale. Athough he did well in Quantum, I thought that film was a bit of a letdown. Just watched Skyfall again last night and it was as good as I remember. Hope he continues on for awhile. I wan't crazy about Moore for Bond, so Craig I thought would be a bust. The way they built the myth back and tied everything in was(I thought) well done. If he's up for three more films I'm good with that.
jackflash
No, no, no. The next James Bond should of course be me
Obiwan76
I have been a Bond fan for many many years. I was horrified at the announcement of Daniel Craig playing Bond. I was wrong. While I always hold a soft spot for Sir Sean Connery, Daniel Craig is doing great with the role.
jcagara08
Gerald Butler and his crazy antics of eating while talking with his head tilted to either side will not make him a bond, he'd rather be a villain! It will suit him Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
BigSlickAK
Another nod for Clive Owen. Although he is probably past his chance. From his BMW short movies! To his badguy assassin in the Bourne movie to his military SAS badguy role in Killer Elite. I root for this guy all the time. I think he should at least play a Bond Villain or double agent. Ronin
First of all, the writing is on the wall that the next Bond will be (not sure how to be politically correct, so I will just say it), black actor Idres Elba. Welcome to: "this ever changing world in which we live in" [Paul Mcartney - Live and Let Die] http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophenia/2012/10/this-idris-elba-to-play-james-bond-rumor-just-got-serious/ ----- Personally, I like Daniel Craig, and HE could be the best Bond but, other than Casino Royal, the scripts have been lacking. We had Quantum of Suck, followed by Skyfall which might as well have been a mash-up of Batman, Bourne and Bond. You had a "Joker+Bane" villain, and Skyfall Manor (might as well have been Wayne Manor, complete with Alfred), and dead parents that sent him on his course. That said. Connery still #1. (Edit to add, just watched "The Living Daylights" (Dalton), and damn, that was an excellent Bond film. Dalton played it more like Craig, however coming off of Moore might have been too serious)
danhobson17
I have to agree with all those shouts for Daniel Craig. I think he makes the best Bond and comes across as such a cool guy. If you havnt already, check him out in 'Layer Cake' one of my all time fave's. Next point: I also heard the rumors about Elba for the first 'Black Bond' and have to say i cant wait (if its true). Politiacal corectness and all that 'Bond is white' [censored] aside, i think it will make a nice modern twist and give yet another tallented, genuinly nice (and not to mention cool as [censored]) British actor the chance to bring this legendary roll to life.
