danielv2000
Is there a difference between a 16000 case and a16200 case? Thanks in advance!
If you see Kay
THe 16000 case iirc is the vintage case with the lower profile bezel and acrylic crystal. The 16200 cases are the higher profile bezels with the sapphire crystals. I may be wrong. What do I know....
1680
Is there a difference between a 16000 case and a16200 case? Thanks in advance! Yes, there are significant differences: lug shape, curve, crown position, rehaut, caseback, case gasket groove, lugholes. The 16200 has a depth rating of 100m, the 16000 only 50m. So the 16200 got a similar caseback like the 1016 which already got the improved caseback for the higher depth rating. Older 16200 got lugholes the newer ones don't, but the position is different to the 16000 series. Over all the 16200 has a fatter appearance. What do you want to build? danielv2000
I'm looking for endlinks for DJ 16000 case from Etur on TRF. I think he's made some for 16200 cases but never for a 16000. If you're telling me the lugs are significantly different, I'm not sure what I can tell him!
lhooq
If you look at the bottom of my thread repository, you'll see a link to a visual comparison I made of the mid-case profiles of the 16xx, 16xxx, and 162xx. It might help, and should make it clearer that endlinks that fit flush on a 16200 will hang awkwardly on the other two.
alligoat
Seems like I saw a 16200 DJ w/ 555 endlinks recently and a 16000 w/ 455s. 16000 is a 3035 movement, plastic crystal - T135 16200 is a 3135 movement, sapphire crystal- 295-C1
tomhorn
555b endlinks work on the gen 160xx cases.
1680
I think what Daniel means are not the endlinks for the Jubi or Oyster bracelet (should be the same on 162** and 16***) but for those small end pieces you can add when you have a leather strap on your DJ, they are custom built by etur. And no, I don't think they will fit a 16000 like a 16200.
mymanmatt
The end links work on all 16000 cases. The 162xx is sapphire. Internal construction is different from plastic crystal models 160xx Edited April 11, 2013 by mymanmatt
