mil04
Hi guys, I just saw the new 7836 bracelet on Yuki website: http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/6784664/8082246.htm What are you thoughts on it? Or should I just go with Mary? Also, is this Tudor clasp from Raffles any good? http://www.rafflestime.com/servlet/the-960/Clasp-for-Tudor-Prince/Detail Thanks
Nanuq
That's very nice! It fixes the glaring flaw from the original release... the screwy "figure eight" midlink where the endlink attaches. Get one and let us know what you think! If it's really like the pictures, then I'll need two.
dieselpower
Also note it has correct 7 adjustment holes in the clasp as opposed to the usual (wrong) 6.

lhooq
Is it really new, or is the same shitty and overpriced 7836 that I reviewed last year? You decide!
Nanuq
Lhooq nailed it. I don't see a difference from the last time. Rats.Nice catch.
mil04
Ok then is Mary is the best choice then? Good eyes everyone !!!
Robaer
Yes, it's the best, but only because there are no alternatives. It's nice for the price but it's very easy to spot its flaws.
panerai153
Where do these factories come up with some of their numbers? my phong 7206 which is really a 6636. , because it's expansion has these 382 endlinks? I looked them up, 382's were used on Tudors, not Rolex. now here they are on a 7836. how hard would it have been to stamp them 380, or 580,etc. Just make them believable!! Nanuq
At least they're not stamped "3.14159" eh?
denimhead
Thoughts on Josh's 7836? Got to be the best option in terms of price?
Guest zeleni kukuruz
Thoughts on Josh's 7836? Got to be the best option in terms of price? Correct Sir Josh/andrew/mary all of them are the same. And they are great! Althoug i got a very very nice folded beacelet with the 7032 that i got from HikeUsa this week, and this one is the yuki one, and its also great, feels little bit more solid then the cartel ones! 1680
I wouldn't say the Yuki 7836 is bad, in terms of design I would prefer this one. BUT it is simply overpriced! $200 for a rep bracelet ??? Nah

Is the difference between a 6636 and a 7206 (or between a 6635 and 7205) the expanding springs? I've seen a couple of sources that say this, but have never been able to reconcile that with the existence of genuine, expanding 7205s and 7206s. I wouldn't say the Yuki 7836 is bad, in terms of design I would prefer this one. BUT it is simply overpriced! $200 for a rep bracelet ??? Nah The poor fit of its endlinks, which cannot be changed without extensive effort, make it a no-go for me--regardless of cost.

That's true, however I think that is fixable with a bit (or a lot) of work and some stainless steel. But there is no rep bracelet that has the correct link that connects the bracelet to the springbar.
mil04
I was looking for my snowflake and I think will go for Mary 7836 and the clasp from Raffles.
freddy333
7206s were available as expansion & non (I have an expanding gen 7206 on my 6536/1).
