astonjenks Posted July 18, 2013 Report Posted July 18, 2013 Guys What do you think of the TMC with an Everest strap? Still seeing if I can get used to the size!
danielv2000 Posted July 18, 2013 Report Posted July 18, 2013 I think it looks line a nice fun look. However, I could not see myself wearing that combo for too long. I'm glad you posted as I had considered it.
astonjenks Posted July 18, 2013 Author Report Posted July 18, 2013 My pleasure. It is 30 plus degrees so a tad 'barmy' in the UK I have the Rubber B coming to try on a black Daytona soon and will share that. I have to say though at $150 the Everest strap is a crazy price!
Aero_Dave Posted July 19, 2013 Report Posted July 19, 2013 Nah, not my style. I just don't think the colors go together. Nice try though. Dave...
ck5533 Posted July 19, 2013 Report Posted July 19, 2013 try black. orange does not blend well with that dial, imho
sgtguk Posted July 19, 2013 Report Posted July 19, 2013 Looks great but definitely a summer strap mate main thing is do you like it ?
panerai153 Posted July 19, 2013 Report Posted July 19, 2013 I think it looks OK, I really don't care for rubber, silicone, etc. straps. I believe the problem here is one of longevity. I don't see one wearing this strap for any length of time. Too bold, and orange is not a color that most folks would wear with a suit or even a "dress down" Friday at work, just a bit too casual. And at 150.00 USD, that strap is pretty pricy for something to pull out of the box a couple of times a year and use for a week. I suppose I'm a purist, but I don't know of a single Rolex sport model that I think looks better on a strap than on the SS bracelet. Possibly a black one would work, but not so much the orange
Ephry73 Posted July 20, 2013 Report Posted July 20, 2013 It doesn't look hideous. That said, maybe a black or navy blue one would blend better. The fit looks awesome. E
