No cyclop, no proper AR anyway only making the date hard to read?

 

im still pondering if to get one w/o cyclop, normal hand instead of the YM sec hand though.

I do not see as well as I once did so did put in for it, plenty of time to change though. Like the red seconds for same reason need to time seconds at work so a plus for me.

This is the one I've chosen.

 

Without the cyclops the date looks silly small, and AR can always be applied later if I feel it needs it. (the TC YM I have is great, not sure if that does not have AR but I certainly don't feel any need to get it AR coated)

 

I've also ordered a spare bezel which I'll fit a gen LV insert too and then I'll be able to swap bezels as I fancy. Changing straps for one you fancy that day is sooooo last year

I know the red second hand might not be the best match for a green bezel, I'll see what it looks like when I get the watch and find an insert

Pls pardon my ignorance, but is this a fantasy model? I don't know much about vintage Rolex models.

Is it just me or do those crown guards look very different from each other? They don't look symmetrical.

They do now that you mention it ,but most likely a prototype by TC, never heard anyone complain about delivered product. As far as fantasy I would say yes.

I think it's as much a fantasy as the Project X offerings.  Which of course makes me want a Rouge with no cyclops, fixed bars, a gray/red NATO, a big crown and no CGs.  That would be the coolest sub ever.

Has anyone had delivery of their TC rouge yet? The wait is near killing me! I ordered mine at the end of October and I last heard from TC near the end of November that he would be working on it the following week with delivery to the UK to follow.
