astonjenks
Ben The guy that made this is a friend of mine and is now the Silversmith for Aston Martin and other fine car marques thanks to yours truly for the right intros. The initials, hinges, corners etc are sterling silver, however, I did cheat as the first I had made for my race car (Aston) mechanic who is a huge cigar smoker, whereas I am an occasional so had my box made to take watches as opposed to cigars! icoopernicus
Looks like a great time was had by all... both. I can only imagine how [censored] any of my friends would be if I ever showed up with a watch box for a night out. Still looks like my idea of a good time
Mike on a bike
It was a good night guys, thanks. Since it was not a home team playing place was dead just two other guys there whom I knew and fellow on the other side of bar who kept to himself, the others came over to take a look try on ask questions etc. Of course are barmaid was on duty sorry no pics she did not want them taken ,shame pretty lady who is very well endowed. Kinda place where we could and did leave our watch cases on the bar when we went out-front to smoke.

Legend
Mike is a good organizer of gtgs. Next time extend the invite to us international folks. As the world gets smaller, travels would get more convenient. Whats a couple of hours (or maybe slightly more) on the plane?
rek001
Nice, thanks for sharing. Personally I feel a bit uncomfortable going to GTGs and showing my collection out in the open in a restaurant with so many onlookers and evesdroppers, but in this case it was your friendly bar where you knew people, and could leave your watches on he table. Mike on a bike
Legend and others Oct 27th anyone flying into the area can come! rek yes my home turf no problem, even if it had been a Giant or Jet game with more people I would know 80% of them. Trust me no one would touch my stuff.

Aero_Dave
I like the sound of that! Romeo y Julieta's No. 2 are my favourite image.jpg OK fellows, Now were talking. I love No. 2's as well. Some of the best cigars. I use to be deeply into Cigars (note my Interest listing). I was putting away 2 boxes a-month! It was a Costly Hobby (Habit) ;-) I still enjoy a good cigar now-and-then, but not like I use to. I still have a 7-drawer humidor in my office. Me and a couple of co-workers have separate drawers of our own. It still has some Yummy stuff inside, aging very nicely too. A few other favorites of mine are: Frank Llaneza El Rey Del Mundo - Robusto Zavala AVO XO Partagas 150 Series B - Yes I've smoked about 1/2 dozen of these babies. ( I still know where I can get a few ) Pardon 1964 Anniversary Series Arturo Fuente Hemingway Hoyo De Monterrey - Hanbana Double Corona OK, that's enough. I could go on-and-on and now my mouth is watering! Dave...
