whoever
I just bought myself a long wished gift! The praised Moccamaster KBG-741, and i'm so happy to leave the world of standardized "expresso-nespresso-senseo-whatever the crap insert here" ! Now praying for safe delivery! Anyone else has this tool??
Niko
Good choice. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts once you have received it and made some coffee. I have a very good espresso machine and also a pod machine, but I always go back to the Chemex when I need a really good coffee. asciwhite
The Moccamaster is the king!! You almost can`t make a bad cup of black coffee with the thing!!

If you see Kay
This is king of the prosumer home machines, (other than the La Marzoccos)
whoever
Yeah, that's exactly what i want to avoid. So many friends have 400+ euro machines, and it takes you 20min to make a single ristreto....which is more than average most of the time. I can't stand all the crema discussions anymore!!! :'(

droptopman
Had the Moccamaster but with the thermal carafe, a very good machine with perfect water temperature. Makes great coffee really good flavor extraction. Finally bit the dust after many years of good service. Wife killed it. Recently bought a Bonavita which is a smaller sized unit and fits my kitchen better and I am very happy with this machine. Was cheap $189 and works great. Water temp is right on at 204. It is very comparable to the Moccamaster for temp and flavor, just better size for my kitchen so that is why I chose it over the Moccamaster this time. sputim
I bought this bad boy last year, without regret. Jura Ena 9 One Touch Jura provide Swiss quality and personally I like this coffee machine a lot! Good choice markiemark I am using a Nespresso machine which is on the more expensive side so only 1 coffee a day but for riding the cheap train I have a Bialetti to make old-school coffee and it has an amazing taste! Also very recommendable for camping trips since you only need a hot source, some water and coffee obviously
