Sbybbuser
This will be the last 5513 I have and this one will be a keeper for sure when it's done. I have bought and sold many 5513's. First one was Donerix 5513 that I sold to a member here. Keep begging him to sell it back to me but he wouldn't. Which I can completely understand. It is a beautiful watch. I wish I didn;t sell it in the first place so I won't spend this much on 5513's. Spec was: MBW case reshaped Yuki dial relumed by Donerix Gen service plexi Gen crown Yuki stretch rivet bracelet Gen pearl Second 5513 was JJ/Rolexaddict build Spec was: MBW/MBK case Ofrei T19 Superdome Gen crown Whoopy Gilt Dial Third 5513 was from Jordan, a member here. The watch took ages to come. It was a thing of beauty but while waiting for it I bought a gen 5513 spider dial. So I sold it not long after it arrived Spec was: Gen Dial Gen Service Plexi Gen Crown Gen Tudor Hand Gen Service Insert Now, I embark on the fourth 5513 build. As I said earlier, I found a 553 spider dial for sale in VRM. Having a gen spider 16750, I am thinking of having another spider dial build in the form of a sub. So I bought the dial thinking that I will use it for the one I got from Jordan. But then I read how that the unwritten rule of the trade is not to cut the feet of a gen dial, so I bought a 1570 no date movement to save the dial's feet. I was gonna save on the case, and bought a cartel 5513, but sold it soon after thinking that the dial and movement deserve a better case, so I buy a yuki case with custom SN to match the dial's year. I also sourced a gen service plexi and gen crown+tube. I sourced a gen service insert but sold it to get a mid font insert instead. Without further ado, here are the parts ready to be sent to JJ: Any input for the build would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
davids100
Great list of parts for your next and last build. Great project here. What about the hands? Did you source a Gen handset as well? Edited September 16, 2014 by davids100

netniet
Your last build will be great. I am guessing that's a keeper.
Sbybbuser
I am still undecided about the hands. Most gen hands that I have seen looks too "used" compared to the case and the rest of the parts. JJ will supply a gen spec hands for this build, if it turns out not fulfilling enough, I will go with gen hands.
highoeyazmuhudee
love it! that last build with the gen gloss dial and tudor hand set was the tops! what case set did you use for that one?
Sbybbuser
I got it from another member. i think it's an MBW case. It is in good hand now, and he's prone to do a C&R lol, so i might get the chance to get it back in an even better shape.
Sbybbuser
Finally, the watch is done. It took JJ only 10 days to assemble to whole thing. Now, the watch has: Yuki Case Rolex 1570 movement Gen Spider Dial Gen 703 Crown (JJ opted to use the Yuki Tube instead due to better condition) Gen T-19 (Service) Gen 580 endlink Gen Hands Gen Spring bars Cartel 93150 Bracelet Case was modified a little bit around CG area. The inside of the case was machined a little bit to fit the gen movement. Pics: What's next? I might get a gen insert if I have extra fund laying around. But, I am content with the watch as is. I am a sucker for spider dial.
