im just middle of reading this thread and sorry for necroing but i wanted to drop my 2cents. maybe all of you guys gonna bash me too for seemingly defending Kingfrog but im not taking any sides and gonna say what i wanna say anyways. eventhough i agree that his attitude sucks. totally not trollin btw

@legend
you said you like to make others happy around you, then stop lecturing and bashing this guy . it makes things alot of worse.
plus we despise his bragging, shitty and arrogant attitude but you are also doing the same (bragging even more) while trying to put him down. you may be right but with what you are saying, you are just degrading yourself to his level and pushing him further to the corner which leads to more frustration.

i dont know and care about what you've said about yourself was true or not, but either way it reminded of a real situation i've witnessed many years ago. have you ever seen a grown man cry? i did. while i was working in my dads company, there was an older guy who just came and tried to prove himself or gain some respect or whatever and started telling stories, bragging, boasting and some [censored] in a subtle yet noticable way. he thought he was smart and his actions would benefit him but of course me and my friends immediately saw thru his [censored] and character. they got offended just like you did and started to put him down, i didnt say much but observed. later i saw him losing face and shed a tear, i felt really bad inside.

my point being and the obvious truth is, noone can ever know exactly why but he wasnt as fortunate as my young/more succesful friends are nut unfortunately his character was just the by-product of his life. maybe he could fix that, but very unlikely when getting put down like that. if my friends approached differently to that matter the outcome could be much better. i can tell what happened to the guy after if u wanna know.

no matter how cliche this may sound, but the real and most important richness is inside the heart. only with that richness we can perceive things in a way we can feel complete and content about ourselves. and then we would need never to brag, boast or feel insecure over others for whatever reason. and of course if we can, we gotta surround ourselves with people who can recognize and appreciate thoese values.

in short, what a shame, maybe all he needed was some good pussy..

So you come onto a forum where the main subject matter is replica watches, where we discuss them, anything else, exchange ideas, experiences, hobbies about watches and everything else, all in all a community.

And say "the ideas of replicas suck, I don't care about any of you, I don't want to know any of you, I don't care what any of you think".

You may be a great person to know (you may be a troll but I give everyone the benefit of the doubt), but you have filled your head up with preconceptions of who you think a typical "rep owner / rep wearer" is, and you couldn't be further from the truth.

Wipe away all those preconceptions and just say "Hi" with an open mind. You'll get a pleasant response.

I am a rep wearer and i currently own 4 gen Rolexes and since I got started in watches (business and hobby) I've owned 12 Rolexes besides my current 4. I wear rep watches because I like the watch. As long as it has a good movement and looks like I want I wear it. Having been a watchmaker I can respect any mechanical watch, rep or gen. I have rep Rolexes, Breditlings, Blancpains etc. I can't come up with the cash for the gens, and might tire of them before long, so I wear reps. They look good and run good and that is my reasons. ANyone who doesn't like it (my wearing reps) can lump it. Its my life and my wrist.

Too many people get on a gen hangup and begin to hate reps, even if they owned them before they went gen. That is just overt elitism. A watch is a watch!

I agree with you 100% and thank you for the highlight. I could really relate to your recount of the grown guy crying because it brings to memory another similar story.

But this affair has been over a year back. It's a closed chapter to me.
