Mike on a bike Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 http://www.christopherward.co.uk/battleforthedeep.html IMHO price aside the Tudor looks better , dial, case, no CGs all in the Tudors favor. C. Ward nice may get one but just not as sharp.
Ezio Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Tudor Wins compared together But alone the C ward is really Nice
Mike on a bike Posted February 6, 2015 Author Report Posted February 6, 2015 Exactly, nice watch good bang for the buck but in the looks department Tudor kills it.
sgtguk Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 £1670 in your skyrocket, let me think on that You know if the CW had better hands it would look much much better
Tonyyammine Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Well since I have a gen black bay ill throw my 2 cents in. Blackbay Leather strap is shittt Lume is shittt Price is shittt Ultra disappointed in this watch? A big [censored]k yea! The price on the ward is nice but that ward insert is ugly and the hands are not that great. Any other questions?

HaydenM Posted February 7, 2015 Report Posted February 7, 2015 They forgot to put the rep third in the comparison Less than half the price of the CW with a 2824 (which could be replaced with the swiss and still be far under the price).

Correct, but how much would it cost once you replace the insert with a gen one so the pearl doesn't scream fake from a mile away, get a gen strap that doesn't feel like a piece of plastic (or a gen bracelet that doesn't lose its "balls",) service the movement, and waterproof it properly so it doesn't leak like a sieve?

Well the Ward beats that!

jigelow Posted February 7, 2015 Report Posted February 7, 2015 If they went gilt on the dial, the insert text was smaller, and the insert color had more depth, I'd love the CW. I'm a fan of their watches in general and their in house movement is pretty interesting (I realize this one doesn't have it).

Not sure of the insert cost. I had no problem with my bracelet except it not having enough micro adjustment points (a problem shared by the gen) a movement could be serviced or a donor watch with an ETA 2824-2 sourced for relatively little and waterproofing can be done with relatively little experience. I have a dead BB sitting in a draw which was originally a movement problem followed by me pulling it apart and breaking it beyond reasonable repair.
Snpr9696 Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) I have the C60 in charcoal. It's a great watch. I'm not a big fan of the lume pearl through. It look like a lump of lume. The should of done better.. I have a rep BB coming in on Monday. Would love to get a gen insert for it. Any sources? Edited February 22, 2015 by Snpr9696
