Is you looking into doing conversion from 1655 to 1675, I have what you need. Been working on this for a while at the end I realized that only a Gen 1675 will do it for me. this is almost done. the only issue I have is that I can't get the stem back in the movement watch. you may need to source another movement. case has been worked to look more like a 1675

Gen Dial

Gen Crown

2mm log holes

WSO complete bezel

DG movement and Hands

Cartel 1655 bracelet

The insert has been faded

Thx CJ I am a [censored]. There's so much info available and I'm so attracted to shiny objects that I'm easily side tracked, forgetting what I was originally searching for. Cyborg you have a pm.

cheers fellas.

Sure wish that link to RA's write-up worked for me.

A few years ago when RA started building his 1675s from the 1655 cases, it was the best thing out there- took a gen 116 crystal, you could put an aftermarket bezel and insert on there, reshape the case at the crown guards, install a good dial, hands and caseback and have a nice watch. The newer 1675 rep cases weren't around back then.

I even built a Pan Am 1675 with a dial from Ingod44, but I hear he's no longer around

Now days it might be easier to use the 1675 rep case
