dbane883
Walked in here at lunch: Walked out 30 minutes later with these: I really wanted the cloth-bound Patek catalog, but they only had one copy.... Maybe next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
pam007
Soooo ... what you're saying is that the AD now accepts good replicas?
508-Fanatic
We don't have a proper Rolex store around here, just silly small dealers that are basically over-priced jewelry stores and they don't have much in the way of marketing materials. When I bought my gen hulk LV-C Sub they didn't even give me a nice bag.

blue.
Congrats dbane! The beginning of a nice personal watch story, right there, the first moments of walking in the store, walking out with the watch and papers. In all those years, watching vintage Rolex sales pictures that demonstrated the watch with the original papers, I asked myself, who were those people that bought those watches, where did that "ceremony" take place back then? Always a nice moment! Wear it in good health!
pam007
OOps I thought you took it in for a service Ok I fixed my original post "sooooo...... you forgot to tell everyone that you walked in with a gun and 30 minutes later, walked out with a watch" Edited April 21, 2015 by pam007

508-Fanatic
It definitely is a special feeling to walk in there, plunk down the cash, and walk out with something special on the wrist. I've only done it once, everything else has been online.
