ok - thanks for opening the thread.

lots of debate going on with our polls ect and making reps and what is "bland" or "popular" i have a watch that i think is outragously fabulous

So - i want to feel out what people around here like - ok i know you like subs, PO and PAMS

anyway - i'm throwing this out there, if we had the chance to rep this over some other watches - what do you think - for real - Good, bad, Eh, ugly -rocking

(by the way i still think this can be repped, the seconds are offset but so is the crown - its just a movement placed turned 35 Degrees turned)

For *me*, the case diameter is way too small...

It is a nice looking watch, but really not anything I'd be wearing to any event, black tie or not... I'd rather be sporting a nice Portuguese if I were to 'dress up'

Also, I'm not too impressed with Chopard as a man's watch, I find the brand itself to cater more towards the ladies with their happy beaches, fishes, blingy this and that etc. Then again, I feel the same way about Cartier.

Sincerely?

A chronometre with 12 markers instead of 60 for the seconds?

Not serious.

It is a good looking dress watch, but also a bit small for me. Take a look at the Chopard Alfa Romeo. Thats a great looking watch.

cool, thanks for the opinions, i understand where you all are coming from, it would be the smallest watch in my collection er maybe the same size as my JLC.

I have noticed i am really missing a more formal, dressy piece so i have wandered that way.

Again appreciate the thoughts, i'm going to take these into acct in looking for my submissionf or the 10k Jay custom project :)

A very nice watch, and if repped properly i WOULD buy one.

However...........

The gen is made out of 18k white gold. No rep is going to be made out of solid 18k white gold.

Also, as pointed out by Flavor Flav, the watch has a display back, and the movt would look nowhere near what the gen movt looks like

unfortunately :(
