Dlf
One day I'll plump for a high end big crown, but for now I'm having fun welding modding my cases. This one is a silix case with lots of meat slapped on, took quite sometime ... Yea yea a lot of work you say, but for me that's half the hobby and enjoyment in creating a unique watch. The specs. silix big crown case+ steroid welds, drilled lugs, chamfered. Athaya v2 crown clark plexi/ shaved down considerably serviced ETA 2846 hr old minute hand / Clark hour/ oshk big ball. HR dial / relumed and made tropic gloss with 6 hour marker slightly lighter. i wanted a single line BC not seen many/ some would say it's 'wrong' but Meh. brass bezel raffles insert ofrei pearl. fat bars few pics, I'm no photographer though just iPhone shots in afraid, tried to capture the gloss.

djulink
Hi Gents, Awesome work DLF, I imagine a lot of effort was put in the case reshaping ? I was also asking myself about the bezel ?
Dlf
I bought the bezel off eBay, It could be, I've never had a Hr BC so I can't confirm, it was much bigger though, had to completely redo on the lathe . here are a few progression shots, in the end it looks easy.. but yeah it's a big job thanks !
Bart Cordell
Wow ! Don't know how you achieve these lugs extensions. But I can imagine it's a lot of work. Stunning !

dbane883
Great job. On your next one, try adding material just to the bottom of the lug tips. I don't think adding metal to the top of the lugs is necessary. Very well done
Dlf
I'll give that a try, I did end up taking most off the top to make it slope down the case, it's the area around 45 degrees up of the lug hole I really didn't like about the case, maybe my v2 will be better . Thanks for the eagle eye
