I had to pull the crown really hard to get to the hand adjustment setting. Not sure if the stem is a tad short.

hugop Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 I have lightly aged an aftermarket insert for now. I dont know about you guys but the insert that came on mine was a total waste. But hey, we dont buy MBW because of the great insert. Or crown. Or dial. Or ... I have a greatly distressed gen flat 4 fatty from Sub007 inbound to see where it takes my build. Still no changes to mine beyond the insert. Going to take my time and enjoy the process. 2

automatico Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 "What's the diameter on the 127?" I measured a regular genuine 127 at the base and it is 30.4mm...not mounted on a case. When you push it down onto a case it will expand a little bit. It tapers to about 30.0mm toward the top.
ronin007 Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 It's a gen service t-127 that came sealed and was sent straight off to be fitted by a friend so I can't measure, the pearl on insert is gen service as well , came off my friend on Trf who I get all my bits off , came also sealed
