Today i want to show you my new project.

The background is that i love symbioses of young and old stil

Inspired by Tempus Machina Ref. 216A i talked with a good friend and real artist in watches.
I told him my ideas and we discused what is possible and financially feasible.

So i bought

  • Noob Sub V6S
  • 8mm Brevet crown with tube

My friend build   

  • spezial domed sapphir crystal
  • spezial dial

and we start to implementation with the project.

Following things are made

Case

  • removing the crownquard
  • installing new crown and tube
  • drilling lug holes
  • work off the complette case
  • developing and manufacturing of a spezial RLX sapphir crystal
  • double AR on crystal

Dial

  • DLC coated basic plate
  • complette new print with gold dots
  • chromalight lume
  • hands gold platted


Bezel

  • shaped the basic bezel to coin edge bezel
  • removed pearl
  • triangel filled with red carbon varnish

That's cool. If only we new someone that was really good at putting bevels on cases...... If only this forum had such a member who was willing to do it on this special piece. Cough cough ^^^^^^^^

That is really incredible! I live the way it has come together. I know you were trying to keep the costs down. How much did it end up costing? How much time did you put into this. I hope more pictures are to follow!

I am very happy with my masterpiece !!!

Forget to mention that a brandnew gen ETA 2824-2 works inside.

I took the don´t worry package:

The complete watch + 1 year full warranty for all - 1480€

The next step is to replace the 2mm shouldered springbars with 2mm shoulderless bars so we can see springbar tips. Otherwise, there's no point in having lugholes if you are going to use shouldered bars.

My watchmaker made 3 dials and lumed it.

2x vintage puffy lume (green shining)

1x white flat lume (blue shining)

I decided to go with the white flat lume.

Hi Gents,

Bezel is really nicely executed.

I'm looking for one to replace the Silix one I got with the Big D. build, but can't seem to find a proper replacement one...

I think Tempus Machina is the only boutique watch I'd really like, all the others just seem like defaced Rolex's to me. The bezel is the hard part to reproduce, I'd love more details on how that was achieved. Other than the lack of a gilt dial, you have just saved yourself USD18520 :-)
