Hnguyen Posted June 19, 2016 Report Posted June 19, 2016 Greeting to all the member here. I am from the neighbor forum. RWI. I am a young guy with an urge to learn about rolex. Why not learn it from gen forum? Does gen forum discuss about rolex like the members on rep forums do or building the rolex with any avaliable parts, custom parts? Some of the vintage watch is unavailable anywhere but on internet pictures. Do I corncern about the laws, regulations and copy rights like most of people do? Copy rights do not affect my hobby. Buildind and dreaming about all my desirable watches are fun. I dont like the box. Its seem bright in there but on the darkside, I can see the dim lights. We dont get blight by the darkness, but by a single ablazing light. I am set on a journey for knowledge and inovation. Just drifting aimlessly while ataining every thread of lume. Let myself sink, to define for myself the weak and the strong illumination. Cheers.
Sogeha Posted June 19, 2016 Report Posted June 19, 2016 Hello and welcome. I agree that there is more genuine knowledge on vintage Rolex and less opinionated BS than on gen forums.
GenTLe Posted June 20, 2016 Report Posted June 20, 2016 Damn... Looking at the 1st pic I was thinking "finally a girl around here!"
Hnguyen Posted June 20, 2016 Author Report Posted June 20, 2016 Its my girl friend. It takes me awhile to get her to wear the watch. That is her first watch ever and she used to not have a single thought about it. Now, she can do the basic thing. Change the strap, set time, know about chrono funtion, simple watch parts like bezel, datewheel... I did not force her. Its just I talk too much about the hobby oftenly when I am reading something new on the forum.
kernow Posted June 20, 2016 Report Posted June 20, 2016 Indeed, welcome to the most pleasant part of the Internet.
