This is just disgusting...I saw a lot of horrible builds but this one tops it all...the worst canal street rep can't look that bad!!

He does say "custom dial and custom bezel insert".   But he never states if the case is original.

So is it easy to profit by splitting up watch parts like this?   If it is, then isn't it ironic that because Rolex controls extra parts being limited....... The consequence is that people will split up gen. Rolexes and create Frankenstein to profit.....which is causing a situation Rolex tried to avoid.

 

If Rolex parts were not so hard to get, people would have more gen. Watches.....but by limiting parts, they are making people split up gen. watches and create crappy creature features...... So I think rolexes policies backfired.

It's pretty amazing that anyone would drop 5k for a fake dial watch.   He clearly states "custom dial".   So is this legal?  It appears.  Again....this is all because Rolex parts are so limited....that it's profitable to split up gen. Watches which creates Frankenstein.

That watch is terrible looking.  I am assuming the case and movement are real.  They are legit sellers.  They have several stores on Long Island.  Check out the other watches they list.  I just purchased a 2-tone sub from them.

This watch is an early 16610 with the R serial and open date font used on the first 16610s. Like the seller states, it's an aftermarket dial and insert- best not to take this watch to Rolex for a service.
