chris5264
Here are two of my favorites (after a few drinks I may get them wrong). The first is from the american philosopher William James "There is no conclusion. What has concluded, that we might conclude in regard to it? There are no fortunes to be told, and there is no advice to be given" Another less directly related one comes from the book "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance" "we take a handful of sand from the endless landscape of awareness around us,,,,,and call this handful of sand the world" I wish I could be more optimistic about the meaning of human progress. The more I investigate human history, the more I question if any progress has actually been made.
