JSebWC
Wanted to build a early 1016 with some spares in my parts bin JMB case set2824 clone Raffles dial and hands Not 1:1 accurate and isn’t impressive out of the box but it has a chapter ring and Swiss only markings. I wanted to experiment with some aging techniques and to see if I was able to make it look GILT and somewhat resemble a water damaged glossy dial When my lume kit arrives I may add an exclamation point at 6 Using a combination of air brush paints and a semi gloss clear coat finish. I aged the hand lume to match I achieved some decent results that I am happy with. Assembly and here we have it Thanks for looking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

justlounging
That’s a very nice-looking patina. If you consider parting with this, pls let me know. Thanks.
cosmic2000
This is a beautiful build and it shows that you can make a beautiful rlx with budget restrictions. Chapeau!
508-Fanatic
Very nicely done! I've never had any success doing dials. Great work - also I think the end-bars as opposed to the endlinks is a cool look!
automatico
"...I think the end-bars as opposed to the endlinks is a cool look!" Some bracelet info: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/rolex-oyster-bracelet-historical-perspectives I used to see smaller manual wind rolex watches now and then with Bonklip bracelets. You see them on military type watches too. https://corvuswatch.blogspot.com/2011/11/untold-history-of-bonklip-watch.html
hologramet
Well done! Impressive results considering the starting material so to speak.
