cornerstone
Hey, what did that cardboard box ever do to deserve the shredder treatment....? By the way, the guy in Vancouver wants his shredder back now (in dreadful taste)....
gargoil
Would have been funny though if the camera man had dropped his camera into the shredder!!
Pugwash
Those watches aren't single orders, you can tell by the trays. That's a bulk distributor order, probably all canal street [censored]. No great loss in my books.
KB
Yeah that was my first though too but if you go back to the begining you will see lot's of individually bubble wrapped watches. Ken

cornerstone
It was replica bubble wrap. The Germans hate that. The bubbles only go pfffft rather than 'pop!'.
TwoTone
It was replica bubble wrap. The Germans hate that. The bubbles only go pfffft rather than 'pop!'. That's because rep air was used to fill them... TT
SWATCHman
They got a hold of a couple of containers in Hamburg harbour. Most of them were Adidas and Nike shoes but one was full of watches, mostly breitling. I guess that's the stuff being shreddered. So if none of the German members ordered a really big load recently, I would expact that stuff to be street merchandise. Bubble wrapped or not. Raijor
Doesn't look very impressive - 1 guy - 1 box of reps and recycling shredder - a publicity stunt to make it look like the authorities are doing something about reps?
thewightstuff
my own thought was that this isnt very environmentally friendly. tut tut tut. seriously, why was that guy bothering to smash the crystals individually given where they were going. bet be beat off to it later on the TV

JJFlash
Personally I preferred the steam roller pictures crushing the reps in China! On second thought, maybe they could first grind them all up; then crush them with the steam roller. ...then perhaps a dose of napalm in case any survived. jfreeman420
They used to do this on 5th ave. in NYC right in front of Cartier. New Yorkers use a steam roller. They know how to have fun!!!
BMWrolex
Was it really necessary to stab the crystal if it were goin through the steamroller anyway? It's like out of a scene from Dracula jesus
