Has Anyone Seen This Breitling Replica

Has anyone seen this Breitling Bentley Replica before? It has the open heart on the front, and on the back it has J44362 and 01/50.

It seems to be a pretty nice replica, a friend of mine has it. I couldn't find this particular model on any of the websites that sell replicas.

(Sorry about the fingerprint on the face, I don't have a proper wipe and don't want to scratch the glass)

I`m sorry to say, how can i say this gentle.

Uhm.........uhm............i have seen better......... a lot.

I bet there will be more explicit comments.

That's cool. It's not mine, critical comments are welcome and expected. What should one look for in a good replica? i.e. What are the flaws in this particular watch?

Thanks.

The first thing I noticed when I looked at it was that the back letters were stamped, not engraved. Not sure exactly what else one would look for.

I am obviously not a watch expert, I have just been considering getting a good Breitling replica.

I'm actually quite suprised at the amount of traffic this forum generates.

Thanks for all the replies.

Definitely not anything that's visible in that one......:LOL

I`m thinking the same thing.

It's pretty recent IIRC. Within the last few weeks. What about the watch was a dead giveaway? What jumped out at you?

I'm new to this, but want to learn. (Don't worry, I'll use the search function, but I'm curious about what's wrong with this particular watch, since I have it in front of me, and can see it live and in color) :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I really appreciate all the advice. Thanks again.

Hmmmm.....something smells fishy here.......!

1. You've just joined today at 7:08am......and you've sussed out how to insert a signature.

2. You;ve also sussed out how to post images using Photobucket....!

3.You've also just joned TRC 10 mins before here......and you're asking the same question over there........you haven't spent any time reading the board.

4. Suddenly your friend has crabs and you want the Doc to prescribe for your 'friend'....!

5. If your friend owns the watch ...why is the wrapping still on it.

Sounds to me like you are Da Man......baiting.....!

The default signature has a link to set your sig. Didn't want to look like a guy who leaves the tags on his clothes.

I've used it before. I'm new to this forum; however, there are other forums on the web you know. I may have picked up something there.

The Breitling forum there has a replica guide, and that sent me here (Link regarding bentley replica)

4. Suddenly your friend has crabs and you want the Doc to prescribe for your 'friend'....!

Ok, I'll admit that was kind of funny.

5. If your friend owns the watch ...why is the wrapping still on it.

He actually has one like it, and this one. He offered this one to me. I wanted to do some research on the web before I got back to him.

I wanted to be able to get back to him tonight, so that's why I cross posted.

I do have a working knowledge of the internet, so I am able to figure out the very difficult html code required to use photobucket.

Actually I have a masters in Software Engineering.....

Satisfied?

Jetmid Jr?

I assume he is your resident troll?

Look, I have this watch in front of me. A friend of mine got it from a guy who knows a guy.... You know how that goes.

Just wanted to see if it was crap. It appears that it is. So, I'm quite happy I posted here.

I just wanted to be educated about purchasing a decent replica. I'll do more searching the forums tonight, I just wanted a quick answer so I could say nope to him, which I did.

Cheers

Dave

Ok, I'll jump in here and provide you with some answers:

Like it has been mentioned before, the greatest flaw is that Breitling does not make this model. It is a fantasy model. Just have a look at the bReitling website or other Breitling resources.

Since this is no real model, there is no way of telling you what particular thing was a dead giveaway (the entire watch is a giveaway)

this post reminded me of my very first beginings with the rep world...i posted too a crappy replica and asked some of the "expert" guys to give a comment about it....and that was back on the RWG I...i still do not remember how i survived all the insults... :D ...but hey, that is how we wish a welcome to all of the new members...do not worry...

if i find a pic of a rep...I'll post it again...but to be honest, i feel ashame now...it was really a bad taste watch...total fantasy panerai...the fantasy of the fantasy...

after a while...you'll start visiting other watch sites...buying watch magazines...and getting to know the watch world...and after some time you'll be able to tell if a watch like this is a rep or not...

remember this post after some months...there is no need to tell you how you will laugh!

The overall look of the watch and especially the day and month subdials is what immediately makes me think "Rep"..

I dont know the entire excessive Breitling line. Breitling and some others manufactures do make watches with day and month subdials ( Montbrilliant Olympus..? ) but they are not ordinary stock..

Cheap chronograph-reps always have day/date subdials.. Just think of all those crappy Daytonas..

Except for that, if you like it, wear it :) Welcome to the club!
