Falco
This is the most representative picture I could find of the Bond watch: Plus need to have lugholes and ETA. Other suggestions??

Jimster
Greetings, Please put me down for one. It would be great to have the correct end links. I believe the number is "65" for that 7206 if I remember correctly. Note the difference in the detail on the end link. Thiose end links were "fixed" to the bracelet. Jetsons
I'm in as well but they need to at least install proper side case holes & leave the dial white or better yet, ivory.....just not that plastic looking yellow most have. Big plus if it were available with an ETA. There would be no problems fitting hands with slower beat ETA movements if one wanted to do so. A few I managed to find in my hard drive. Added a few more:
Falco
Some more photos... first one is a 6536 and the next is a 5508. They're pretty close to each other, both have the small "Twinlock" crown. Wow Nanuq, That 6536 looks but stunning gorgeus and crazy sick radioactive ! Great pics Jetsons! By the way, Silix should be reading this thread and checking pictures. Hopefully he'll post some info here what the progress is with the watchmaker Anybody know how long this Chinese new years holliday is?

paragonrep
In reference to Falco's post #76 on this topic: That is really, really close! Except, the triangle should be silver and the bezel insert shouldn't have separate minute markers between 0-15. Other than that, it's got it: coined bezel edge instead of scalloped, no crown guards, no date, exact face with no date. Hands and lume all look right. Also, the bezel pearl of the 'bond' looks to be straight lume with no metal edge. I'd hate to see the typical cheap, shiney bezel pearl slapped on there. I've attached two screenshots from Goldfinger that show Connery's Rolex. Also, the nato strap doesn't appear to be the black/grey version everyone seems to refer to, but rather there are thin red pin stripes surrounding the grey stripes. If we could get a version that looks like the movie screen shots with a decent movement and water resistance, it would be a done deal for a lot of people I know... IF Silix can get enough interest and get one like this, I would be one happy collector Edited February 8, 2007 by paragonrep
paragonrep
What does everyone want: metal band, nato strap, or watch only without band or strap? Edited February 8, 2007 by paragonrep
robertk
Interesting thread. I picked bup a Bond sub From MBW (via Lucky???) before he went sour. I'm not sure of the model but it gets lots of attention from rolex collectors (they know its a rep and just can't believe how good it is). I'd definitely be in for another one

Falco
Update, Silix was asking me this but I'm not sure what shade of yellow??? "the correct color of the markers should be yellow, right? " Anybody got a pic of the dial markers with correct/best colour??
Falco
Not yellow! Make them the faintest tan color, with a *slight* yellow tint. Some aged markers are ivory colored and that looks best to me. Check out the ivory markers on the 5508 and the tan 12:00 index showing beneath the green crud that fell off the 6536. That's what you want. Nanuq can you post a better picture of the 5508 without the crystal reflection? it'll be easier to see the colour shade

"the correct color of the markers should be yellow, right? " Anybody got a pic of the dial markers with correct/best colour?? Since we're going for a James Bond sub, why not use the movie screenshot as a reference for color? I think Nanuq is correct when he says the color should be ivory. Jetsons
Perhaps something along these lines be acceptable for the dial finish. BTW, this is a gen dial.
