I loved the look of the strap but sold it because it would have taken me years to break it in with the way I swap straps. How about adding it to the vote? The 212 is a special beast that works well with a black or brown strap very well. I often put a heavly distressed strap on it and it is great. KB Posted April 7, 2006 Report Share Posted April 7, 2006 Yeah i had to go for CJ as well, I did think that Overboosted submitted a very nice pic however part ofthe comp was the strap and his of course is on a bracelet. If there was 1st, 2nd and 3rd then jtb would have got my 3rd vote as although he still has the shop strap on his watch I find the way he setup the shot to be excellent. Just didn't want to end up with no votes. doc - it was literally out the packet and on the chair next to the window for light to take the shot. It's actually the blanket we throw over the chair to let the dog lie on it. Ken - the strap is actually not too bad. In any event it's staying on, on account of the welded lugs! V Posted April 7, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 7, 2006 Sorry Faber and PAM1A and gotovina that I have left out your photos but I have a reason why. First Fabers was a very nice pictures but VERY small pixels, PLUS he already has the same velcro strap on the watch. Second PAM1A is not qualified as a 100% Panerai with this Rolex crown (and yes I don't like rolex ) and third gotovina was not a 100% watch based photo.
