You have your dress shirts made with an extra large sleeve so you can wear any size watch and not look like that. I am no horologist (prefer to think of myself as a repologist) but I do highly recommend it. There is nothing funnier than sitting at a business meeting or in a bar and the person across the table from you is trying to get a glance at your watch. BTW, that looks totaly gay (not that there's anything wrong with that). I would imagine this guy would be an easy mark for someone to swipe that atch off of his errrr, wrist? tmg Posted April 26, 2007 Report Share Posted April 26, 2007 Believe it or not this is a very old look or style if you want to call it that. I've seen pictures from WWII with soldiers wearing their timepieces outside their sweaters, I assume so they didn't have to lift the sleeve or cuff to see the time. Probably a good thing too if you're hands are holding a weapon. I also remember seeing Ralph Lauren ads from the late 80's showing this look too.
