By-Tor Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Great Wednesday guys! I'm starting the day with my great SuperOcean.
ubiquitous Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Currently, have my MBK Royal Oak Jumbo on the wrist... Tomorrow will be my MBK Nautilus Jumbo.
By-Tor Posted June 13, 2007 Author Report Posted June 13, 2007 Beauties Ubi. Didn't you get the SuperOcean too? How do you like it so far?
ubiquitous Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Beauties Ubi. Didn't you get the SuperOcean too? How do you like it so far? Thank you, BT I am absolutely loving these Jumbos! My first purchases in quite some time, and I'm finding my interest in watches starting to resurface (which is good, but maybe not so good on the bank account ). The SFSO is indeed an interesting piece! A bit big for me... It seems to feel a little clumsy on my wrist (which is a bit narrow) so it tends to flop about a bit; as such, it's not worn too often. But there's no doubt that it's a fantastic piece!
eunomians Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Ohhh yeah! I'm wearing my new AP Jumbo right now. Just got it this afternoon Wow! Pics to come tomorrow, it's night time here and I like my pics lit with natural light instead of tungsten.
ubiquitous Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I'm wearing my new AP Jumbo right now. Just got it this afternoon Looking forward to those pics!! Which dial color did you procure?
eunomians Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Looking forward to those pics!! Which dial color did you procure? The usual black dial. I'm so predictable. It is gorgeous. Ubi, you were right in respects to the gold screws. They are very subtle in appearance. Looks very understated & elegant. What an extraordinary rep. If they keep making reps like this, I'm going to be broke Cheers
ubiquitous Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 If they keep making reps like this, I'm going to be broke 2nd that!

But there's no doubt that it's a fantastic piece! Yep. I really like AP's as well. Too bad the gens are so expensive. So wearing a rep like that would be a bit too much for an average guy like me. About the Steelfish... yes, it's a big watch. I've always said that these bulky watches don't go well with smaller wrists. Some don't mind though. You could try it with a rubber strap... it could balance the size nicely.
robertk Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Hey guys, here's what will be on my wrist this week. Wed. Breitling Nav Thurs: Cartier Seatimer Friday: Pam 090
Stephane Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Yesterday it was this IWC Today it's this beauty
By-Tor Posted June 13, 2007 Author Report Posted June 13, 2007 I love that IWC Stephane! Awesome watch!
Stephane Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Thanks BT Indeed, it's a must have. I'm only waiting for a kind member to install the correct day/date wheels

Some don't mind though. You could try it with a rubber strap... it could balance the size nicely. Gave the rubber strap a try... On the last hole it's still a bit loose. A little less clumsy as the rubber helps provide some grip with my skin, but I just wish it were a tad bit tighter. Oh, and my wife was giving me greif about the big 'BREI-TLING' script going across the top of the strap... She told me to stick to the Daytonas...
Jetsons Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Starting to explore chronos & came across this poor man's Autavia. Not a bad looker for a 29 year old.
Febus Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I'm not planning on actually doing any but who knows when I might need to dive to 1000M? Therefore the only sensible choice is my U1.
elprimerozen Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Starting to explore chronos & came across this poor man's Autavia. Not a bad looker for a 29 year old. Realy nice!
jeff g Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 This Pilot Chrono of mine is stuck to my wrist and won't come off.
Pix Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 New dress for my SFSO. I love leather as much as SS on this one. It's definitely one of if not my favorite rep. I know this combination is very common, but well, it's just perfect, so why take any risk with a strange strap ? It's not a Hublot or a CD... It cost 168 dollars... Isn't that an obvious proof that superreps are possible under 200 ?! (sorry, I'm not trolling...)
Guest avitt Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 It's a newly completed 6265 for me today
pubus Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 very nice watches guys I was wearing today my long time beloved 111h from trusty, this watch has been my daily beater for more than a year, I had no other watches then. Its self modded and I still love it but since I got a 42mm PO lately I found pam bracelet less comfortable than one attached to my PO. So I guess it must go oto the box since its summer here and leather straps dont work well with my sweaty wrist Heres a brand new pic I took a couple of minutes ago, cheers
Pugwash Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Today, I'm wearing this old thing, trying to work out whether to sell it or keep it ...
