Nothing cartoonish about it- the gen is gorgeous- from their Olympic series.

If I recall correctly, the numerals on the bezel are different on the gen.

Beautiful watch- would like to see the rep in person.

When I saw the logo and the font, I thought something was very wrong... Maybe that was me

But I don't like the shape of both, I'm sure I would get questionned if I wore that.

All in all, I like the fact that they finally made a better pearl for this insert. If I get another Black Seamaster 2254, I am defintely targeting this insert.

I'm with Andreww and others. I don't like it. The logo is hideous.

The standard black Seamaster chrono is much nicer.

i think the black chrono that Pugwash posted is the only version i would consider wearing. I think to the average person, they would call it a rep even if it was the gen that was being worn. Omega are usually known for their clean lines and professional finish but these models look like they have been done in bubble writing.
