Saabin
Yes, The base is a older aBay red sub case. Then I took almost a full mm off the front to make it thin enough, Knocked the CGs off and took a little off the sides. Tonight I will be working on finishing out the shaping of it and hopefully start in on the polishing & finishing. Saabin
Isn't that my red/black datewheel? The all black one I used in your 1675 is more correct for that model.

Saabin
how are you doing the datewheel, what software? Care to share? The software is called Flexi. http://www.scanvecamiable.com/ It is design software mainly for the sign making industry however it is measurement based so it works great for designing anything that need to be precise in size. Saabin
Another prototype datewheel, getting closer but still not satisfied: Changing the angle of the case back edge and overall size: Adjusting the bevel of the step up on the back of the case: Thinning the case a bit more: I still need to open up the rehaut a bit. (a gmt dial is a bit larger than a sub one) However I am going to have to make a special bit to get in there.
