the collector
Do you go to university there? If so, so did I! Just guessing cos you have exams coming up, unless you are doing accountancy exams like CIMA or ACCA which is in a few weeks I think. Yeah kind of, I am doing my MBA near Regents Park
Polynomial
I'm in North London, not far from Arsenal and Spurs grounds. Though I am a supporter of neither I used to live in N4 for quite some time....gone now down to Tower Bridge, kind of miss Finsbury Park now... V
Please everyone interested to come propose other locations.. If not, I have seen Clive's suggestions and they look quite nice. Should we say for time 6 - 6:30 ?
exper
Holborn is alright by me and the time is good too - though if so many people can't make it perhaps maybe a better idea to delay it a week or so when they can ? Not sure as not many who said they can't make it have suggested alternates

Should we say for time 6 - 6:30 ? I'll work til around 7pm (early for me) and then get picadilly line direct there... so i am more likely to make it 7:45-8pm if that is ok with everyone ? If not I am going home with a new watch on my wrist You bring the straps and screwdriver, I've got the RXW on the metal bracelet. I haven't tried the supplied Connolly straps yet, though they seem good. What kind of watches does everyone have that will be turning up? I'd guess you, finepics and clive will have the PAMs covered (can't wait to see the 187 and the 127 in the steel so to speak)... I think I'll do the RXW and another - depends what turns up in the post I hope Davey can make it, he is the R*lx man. I'm not sure what the others have though. Will I recognize you by the watch over your sleeve ? Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... I'll try to come ASAP, how long do you plan on sticking around? It's bank holiday week next week, so that's on day less of pay... if I do 13 hour days Tues-Thurs plus 10 hours on Friday (9-7 or so) I'll be able to get close to the 50 hours I'd like in a 4 day week
V
Will I recognize you by the watch over your sleeve ? Probably.. that's how FInepics recognised me last Friday.

goog
I'm afraid I won't be able to make it, however, here are some nice pubs which would be suitable for that kind of thing (apologies for causing confusion if venue has already been decided) The Dover Castle (Just north of Oxford Circus) is a fantastic little Sam Smith's mews pub. http://www.fancyapint.com/main_site/thepubs/pub28.html I've never struggled to find a table there no matter how many people I've turned up with. A bit posher is the Audley near the US embassy. Don't get shot at. http://www.fancyapint.com/main_site/thepubs/pub395.html Just my 2ps worth.. Have fun and sorry I won't be there, Goog
dcrooz
Guys, I'd love to come also but unfortunately I won't be able to. Not happy with having a 7 week old daughter in the house we're moving home this weekend, which may drag into next week knowing how these things tend to go. It's a shame as I'd really love to meet you all and see your collections of course - Next time. Enjoy, and have a couple of beers for me!

V
Bump.. I talked with Finepics on the phone and agreed that bringing 'Collection' on a pub Friday night won;t be such a good idea.. So we will bring 1-2 watches each just for the sake of it.. The most important thing is to drink some beers and know each other for the next BIG UK meeting. dcrooz
I'd think it was very wise to not bring an entire collection to a pub. Enjoy guys, I'd really like to share a couple of pints with you all.
