Given enough notice, and the overall logistics, I'd be interested. I took German at school, and, although it's been nearly 10 years since I had to speak German (visiting the Rheine Valley) I was able to get by with what I'd learned, and found that more came back to me as the holiday progressed, so I think I'd be okay :)

Indeed, Germany is an excellent suggestion for location. Another I would make mention of (simply as it is my favorite European country) would be Belgium, as I've always found that to be a lovely place to visit :)

I'd be interested depending on location.

If it is not too far away I'd take my car.

If it is far from me it would better be in a bigger city to take plane and not hassle with renting cars etc.

Cheers!

If people are happy with my location you could fly to padaborn or hanover and i can arange pick up, Pad is best as it is only 30 KM away, from that you should be able to work out if you would drive or not, 4 hours from the border BTW

Belgium

Would be possible by me since I can Eurostar over from St P now. PLus it could do with some waffles, Kwak and catch up with the local seafood places. PLus, I can alway grab a few to the Rum bar and catch up with some local buddies.

Im in for that, also should be able to tempt Yellowmen down (how about it Frank?)

Personally i would also prefer a big city located central for most members attending. So far i see people from Germany, Poland, the UK and Belguim.

A city like Brussels would be good for me as i'd have an easy connection with trains. Same goes for Dusseldorf. Further into Germany i guess i'd have to take an airplane which would make the trip much more expensive.

As isaid i would be happy where ever, any one in Brussels, know a good venue and cheep hotel information.

How about a poll of the main places, if we all nominate a location i can make a poll and see what we get.

I nominate the area of padaborne.
